The health and safety of our participants is our priority. Any participation in the Charles-Bruneau Cup requires equipment adapted to the practice of ball hockey.

As part of your registration, the Foundation will provide sets of personalized jerseys with your company colors for your team. It will also provide in the registration fee, two items among the 4 mandatories (stick, helmet, pads and gloves) for each player. The player will be able to make his choices in the registration process and complete with his personal items or purchase them with a PROMO code from our equipment partner.

Certain pieces of equipment are mandatory for the Cup. Here is the list:

  • Forward:
    • Running shoes
    • Numbered jersey*
    • Hockey stick*
    • Ball hockey shin pads*
    • Gloves* - new
    • Helmet and shield** - new
  • Goaler (full goalie gear):
    • Numbered jersey*
    • Pads
    • Jockstrap
    • Goalie chest protector
    • Blocker
    • Mitt
    • Full face mask
    • Goalie stick

*The jersey and 2 items of your choice are included in the participant's registration fee.
**New – to avoid any unfortunate accident, shin and knees, head, eyes and teeth protection is mandatory. The Charles-Bruneau Cup is therefore proud to be the first adult ball hockey event to require this complete protection. The player will be free to choose the combination of his choice:

  • Helmet with fullface protection
  • Helmet, goggles/glasses and mouth gard
  • Helmet, visor and mouth gard 


If you don't have the mandatory equipment, or if you want to be equipped from head to toe, all these items can be purchased from our official equipment partner: Knapper.

Once your registration is complete, you will find, in your personal profile, in the equipment section, a promotional code and the link to the Knapper shop.
