Émile Bilodeau

Having been involved in music since his teenage years, Émile Bilodeau became known to the general public in 2016 with his debut album Rites of Passage. It is more than 40,000 copies sold, tens of millions of continuous listens, the initial success of "J'en ai plein mon cass" which reached the number one spot on the BDS pop rock chart and a tour of nearly three years certified silver ticket (25,000 tickets sold, via more than 350 shows in Quebec and 50 in France and Belgium). This momentum earned him the Félix for Revelation of the Year at the ADISQ gala in 2017.

As soon as this first round was over, he rapped with Grandeur mature in the fall of 2019, a second album that, as its title indicates, marks an evolution, refining the projection of ras-le-bol and the work of the language that is so dear to him. Celebrated on the radio with the singles "Candy", "Robin des bois" and "Échec et mat", Grandeur mature earned him the prestigious Félix for Male Performer of the Year at the ADISQ gala that same year. Through it all, Émile Bilodeau remains abundant and altruistic, notably by getting involved with the Pour 3 points organization (aimed at promoting success among young people) and by giving workshops for young people at the Carignan school.

A third album will be released in the fall under Bravo musique and will vibrate with the distinct imprint that Quebec has come to recognize.
